The band program encompasses a diverse range of offerings, including the Wind Symphony, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble I, Jazz Ensemble II, Jazz Combo, Percussion Ensemble, and Chamber Winds. Students actively engage in weekly studio classes conducted by professional musicians specializing on their respective instruments. Additionally, students frequently take part in summer music festivals across the United States, with many also representing DA in the FMEA All-State Ensembles and the Duval/Nassau District Honor Band. Notably, students from our program are regularly accepted as music majors to prestigious conservatories and universities. The program maintains a commitment to artistic excellence by regularly hosting guest artists, conductors, and pedagogues who collaborate with students, providing invaluable opportunities to enhance their musical prowess.
